Council meetings are open to the public. Council encourages the public to attend the monthly Council meetings held on the Third Monday of each month at 6PM at Village Hall located at 647 Cross Trail.

The Village of Lockington is set in rural Southern Shelby County, Ohio along the Northern Miami County Line located along the I-75 corridor, between Sidney and Piqua, Ohio. The population of the village was 163 at the 2020 census.
